 "It simply doesn't work." 2010-02-12
By Aaron K. Williamson (NYC, NY USA)
I had family coming into town to stay, and needed an air mattress in a hurry, so I ordered this. I made the mistake of waiting to try it till the last minute, and immediately regretted ordering it. The pump comes with 3 nozzles, none of which attaches securely to the valve on the bed. There are no directions for inflating it, which shouldn't be an issue for such a simple mechanism, but using the largest nozzle (which the box shows as the appropriate one to use to inflate the bed) no air makes it into the mattress at all; there is just a high pitched whistling noise. The second largest nozzle doesn't stay in the valve. The smallest nozzle causes the bed to inflate very slowly and with enormous amounts of effort, but only till the bed is about 90% inflated, at which point it will inflate no further.

My guest is lying on a limpid air mattress and I am sorely regretting my purchase.

 "Suited Our Needs" 2010-01-29
By S. Hanoca (California, USA)
We bought this for a last minute attempt at camping. Although some murderous hobo thwarted our camping experience, the bed was easy to fill up, let out, pack up, and use again. The pillows are kind of a joke but the bed is super comfy and durable. We put a foam or feather topper because we're snobs but it's fine without. 6'3" Boy Fits.

 "Extremely comfortable; Well designed" 2010-01-04
By C. MACPHAIL (Solana Beach, CA USA)
The mattress is extraordinarily comfortable. Possibly better than your bed at home. The flocked top surface is good at preventing your slippery nylon sleeping bag from oozing off the edge as you sleep.

The valve is great for fast inflation and deflation.

Prices for this are all over the place, so shop around.

My family has 4 of these. The walls seem pretty thick, but I have acquired 1 or 2 small punctures over the years. Easily repaired with duct tape or the included patch material. (Make sure you bring it.)

The only down side is it's kind of heavy. Not a problem for car camping or in-home use.

 ""comfortable good night's sleep"" 2009-11-29
By S. Lbck
Received its first use this weekend by an otherwise finicky house guest, who claimed she got a "comfortable good night's sleep" on it. The hand pump worked efficiently and it stayed fully inflated for two nights (so far) of continuous use.

Although I feel it has already paid back its modest cost, I expect it to provide many subsequent evenings of comfortable sleep.

 "don't do it" 2009-11-03
By William Miiller
when inflated the airbed was not the dimensions stated on the box. it does nto hold air all that well. needs to be reinflated about once a week.
